Army National Guard

Quintech was contracted through SPAWAR Atlantic to facilitate the design, procurement and installation of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) for deployment in multiple National Guard Bureau (NGB) locations throughout the United States.

The ESS Program bears the responsibility of providing Policy Interpretation; Planning, Programming and Developing Resources; Technical and Construction Project Reviews; Cost Controls; Training and Education; Program Management; and Compliance Monitoring.

The deployed ESS will afford NGB to opportunity to meet its security objectives, which is to raise the level of protection for these important NGB facilities and their operations

Benedict College

Provided security design and installation services for the implemented of a campus wide Integrated Security Management System (ISMS) to include CCTV Surveillance, Intrusion Detection and Access Control subsystems. The overall objective was to enhance security in an attempt to provide a safe and secure educational environment for Benedict’s students, staff and visitors.


Dare County Schools

Dare County Schools Administration request a curtailed security and visitor control audit of the public schools in Dare County. In partnership with EI Group, Quintech was tasked to perform a security / visitor control audit and provide visitor management training.

The security reviews consisted of an assessment of the existing closed-circuit television systems, intrusion detection systems and the visitor management and access control systems and procedures within the Dare County Schools to assist in the protection of students, faculty and visitors while on campus.

The visitor management training, provided to Dare County Management and Staff, was designed to provide control over and accountability for visitors to the school system.

Davis & Elkins College

The USDA choose its National Forest Service (NFS) facility located near the campus of Davis & Elkins College campus an alternative operational site in the event of a crisis situation within the DC metro area and deemed it necessary to examine the vulnerability of the neighboring college campus. The purposes of the assessment was to document possible security threats and evaluate the adequacy of existing security measures employed on the Davis & Elkins college campus.

Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA)

DeCA Headquarters tasked Quintech to conducted comprehensive unbiased assessments at 11 regional areas, subdivided into 27 zones with 192 commissaries.

The project goal was to provide unbiased examinations and report of the conditions of existing audio and video systems, as well as the existing infrastructure, and to analyze and recommend physical improvements to raise the level of performance and protection for these important facilities with the ultimate goal being to safeguard the people and assets at each location.

McConnell Air Force Base

Since July of 2006, Quintech with business partner Ingersoll-Rand has provided security consulting, system design and installation support to McConnell Air force Base. The scope of each task has generally been in the area of CCTV system specification and implementation with a small amount of work in the area of intercom system installation to support area access control. Each project was done in an attempt to advance the overall security objective documented within the McConnell AFB Security Master Plan as related to Basewide digital surveillance.

Military Sealift Command (MSC)

The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is the transportation provider for the Department of Defense with the responsibility of providing strategic sealift and ocean transport in peacetime and war. In its quest to ensure security compliance of MSC Classified Local Area Network (CLAN) Protected Distribution System (PDS) by implemented an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) at its headquarters, MSC requested support with the design, procurement, and installation of the Intrusion Detection System.

In addition to the CLAN IDS installation, Quintech compile and provided manufacture user manuals and hard documentation; Provided training material and conducted on-site training for up to ten personnel from MSC HQ’s security and N6 operations department; Documented CLAN site, infrastructure and equipment information; Prepared PDS approval request; Completed NMCI Preliminary Site Questionnaires (PSQ); Provided remote and on-site technical assistance within 24 hours of notification.

Shaw Air Force Base

Building 1102 –Designed, Procured, and Installed an Advantor Intrusion Detection System (IDS) in for protection of the Classified Local Area Network (CLAN). Provided drawings for IDS documenting the system installation, system layout and system configuration. Developed an IDS Design Plan to monitor fiber optic cable runs from the point of entry into the plenum spaces on each floor and back to the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) gateway.

Deployment Processing Center- Designed, Procured, and Installed CCTV, and Audio Visual Systems with NIPR / SIPR Network Display Capability. Quintech was also tasked with performing the follow-on preventive (scheduled) maintenance for each of the systems.

Quintech was tasked to perform a Security Site Survey of Bethea Hall Dormitory to determine the appropriate security measures to be taken to upgrade the current security posture of the Dormitory.

The goal was to control physical access to the dormitory, provide intrusion detection of unauthorized entry, and to provide video surveillance of the entire area. The survey described recommended improvements required to strengthen the security posture of Bethea Hall and highlighted ways of diminishing the campus’ potential liability exposure.

U.S. Custom House

Quintech was requested by GSA’s Sunbelt Region to support and provide professional services to design, procure and install a new Fire Alarm System within the U.S. Customs House in Downtown Charleston, SC.

The system was designed and installed in accordance with NFPA72 and the GSA contract specification. This system was installed in parallel with the existing system and upon completion of system; testing the old system was to be de-installed.

This project included: System Design and Drawing Reviews; Infrastructure Installation; Device Cabling; Alarm Device Installation; System Testing; Operator Training; Existing System De-installation; Wall Patching, Painting and Cleanup.

Additional services included providing the following documentations: Plan of Action & Milestone (POA&M)/Master Schedule; Project Plan; Quality Control Plan; Cost Control Plan; Clean Up Plan; Commissioning Plan.
